We present you the Alpinestars Vence Drystar, a touring jacket, waterproof and breathable, thanks to the Drystar membrane of the Italian firm, the detachable thermal lining and the new Direct Ventilation system. All these features help to make this jacket a truly versatile garment.
Materials and construction
The new Alpinestars Vence Drystar jacket is made of multiple panels of different fabrics for maximum durability, protection and comfort.
The jacket has elastic insertions of fabric in accordion in the elbows for a greater freedom of movements on the motorcycle.
On the left we can see an general view of the Alpinestars Vence Drystar. On the right, a detail of the Direct Ventilation system.
Inside the new Vence Drystar we find the exclusive Drystar membrane of Alpinestars, 100% waterproof and breathable. This membrane offers us excellent performance in all weather conditions.
In addition, the jacket features a removable thermal lining which also allows us to wear the jacket during all seasons of the year.
The Alpinestars Vence Drystar has removable CE certified Bio Armor elbow and shoulder guards.
The jacket also has compartments in both chest and back with foam pads, which can be disassembled and allow to improve the level of protection by installing the Nucleon protectors, although these are not included with the purchase of the jacket.
The Alpinestars Vence Drystar allows to mount a Nucleon protection, as we can see in the image.
Other elements not less important as to the safety for the rider are the reflective details on the back and the arms to be more visible in night conditions or low visibility.
In addition to the commented removable thermal lining, which obviously helps regulate the temperature, the Alpinestars Vence Drystar has two large air inlets in the chest and two exits in the back, which ensure optimal ventilation.
The innovative Direct Ventilation system finds exit through two openings in the back.
These two chest aire inlets, protected by heat-sealed zippers, incorporate the new Direct Ventilation system, which allows air to flow quickly inside the jacket. This air finds exit through two openings in the back. All this allows us to better regulate the internal flow.
Closure and pockets
With YKK zippers, the best on the market, the Vence Drystar has a zippered main closure accompanied by a flap with push buttons, plus Velcro in the neck area.
The belt regulates the waist and the jacket also has jacket-trouser connecting zip, as well as multiple regulations for an excellent fit and maximum comfort.

Finally, we have two waterproof front pockets to hold our personal items.
